JESSA CARMACK

MISS CALIFORNIA 2016

Jessa Carmack was crowned Miss California 2016 with the Miss America Organization in July 2016. In September she represented the Golden State when she competed for the title of Miss America 2017 where she placed in the Top 10 and was featured on the live ABC Television Network telecast. The 2017 Miss America pageant cycle began with 8,000 young women across the country including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. In 2011 Jessa served as Miss California’s Outstanding Teen where she also went on to compete at the national level at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and was selected as a Top 15 finalist.

Jessa is a 22-year-old early graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in public relations and a minor in communication studies. She is a former San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush cheerleader and brand ambassador of four seasons who cheered at Super Bowl 47, travelled the country and internationally to Japan and Mexico representing the 49ers, the 49ers Foundation, the NFL and partners such as United Airlines. Jessa has been an advocate for “Building a Healthy Future,” instilling a healthy lifestyle in the youth since she was 15-years-old. She has toured numerous schools, daycares and youth programs speaking about healthy habits and its benefits.

As the 92nd Miss California, Jessa tours up and down the state of California appearing at local Miss America Organization pageants, schools, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, fundraisers, charities, non-profit events and more.

In addition to her work with the Miss America Organization and the San Francisco 49ers, she worked in Silicon Valley throughout college where she was a contract employee on-site at Google, working on the Google Shopping Express team.
