VINCENT I. PHIPPS

TESTIMONIALS

Mr. David McCabe,

My name is Justin Jones and I am the Education Chairman for the Detroit Chapter of our Association. I am writing this letter as a testimonial for Mr. Vincent Phipps, M.B.T.I. and his outstanding professionalism and public speaking skills. He has used these skills to deliver excellent education to our chapter on two occasions.

Our first education with Vincent was held at Oakland Hills CC on March 23, 2010. There were two sessions covered on this day, 1- Improving Customer Service, 2- Developing Interpersonal Communication Skills to be a Better Manager. Each of these topics was well rounded and delivered to our group in a direct and engaging manner. Vincent did an outstanding job of making each topic relevant to our needs and interacting with our attendees. The feedback I received following the event was consistently positive and included several requests to have Vincent return to our chapter in the near future. The feedback was also complimentary to his presentation and communication skills from both younger and established managers alike.

Following this exciting initial experience, I contacted Vincent to return to our chapter following the summer. The best way I saw for the DCMA to utilize his skills again was to quickly apply the talents to target our mid- level management to engage some of our less active members. The best topic based on the feedback received from the prior sessions was for younger managers to learn how to present to groups ranging in size and topics. This session was held at Birmingham CC on October 5, 2010 and was titled - 3 Ups of Public Speaking. Where this topic was brought to draw primarily from our younger managers, it received a great balance of managers who were interested in the topic. I feel this was a true testament to the atmosphere Vincent left with our chapter during the spring session. This education also delivered a great interaction from our attendees and, much like the prior sessions, ended with great compliment.

As our chapters’ education chair, I feel strongly about Vincent and his excellent coaching skills. He delivers his topics with an unparalleled balance of professionalism and interaction. Vincent’s ability to draw and sustain interaction from our group(s) left our chapter with a long-lasting impression. Each of the topics he brought to us was done so in such a way that once we were able to “plant the seed” of our needs, Vincent was able apply all details in a pertinent manner. Our chapter found a great deal of value in Vincent and his ability to deliver to our association. I endorse Vincent as a marquee speaker and would welcome him back to the Detroit Chapter any time.

Dear Mr. McCabe,

I am writing to give my personal recommendation for Mr. Vincent Phipps. My first exposure to Vincent was at a CMI workshop I attended at the 2008 World Conference in Orlando, Florida. I had a personal goal to improve on my interpersonal communications skills. At this workshop, I found Vincent to be very energetic and engaging to the audience. The education and tools he gave me to improve my communications were inspirational and very effective.

Vincent is a very upbeat and positive professional. He has the ability to put people at ease while keeping them engaged and enthused. He is entertaining and his presentations are interesting and informative. Vincent’s sincerity is one of his best traits and one of the the things that keeps his audience engaged.

I have since used Vincent on an individual basis as an executive coach to continue communications skills improvements, and work to improve my overall management effectiveness. The results have been very noticeable and I have since had members of my Board of Directors comment on my abilities to deliver clear and concise presentations. I have also utilized Vincent to work with a key member of my staff who was having significant difficulties with personal interactions. The improvement with this individual has been fantastic. I also had the pleasure of seeing him most recently at CMAA’s 2010 Leadership and Legislative Conference. Vincent has had a very positive impact on me and my staff at Forsyth Country Club.

My personal experience with Vincent led me to bring him to the Carolinas Chapter for a CMI workshop this year. As you know, I was the 2010 Education Chair for the Chapter, and as such is was my responsibility to plan and book education for the 2011 calendar. We pride ourselves in the Carolinas on providing excellent variety with numerous CMI workshops annually. When looking at our 10 core competencies, I could not imagine a better person to percent to our Chapter on communications than Vincent Phipps. I am excited about our upcoming workshop with Vincent in April, 2011.

In summary, Vincent Phipps is a fantastic professional that many in our association can benefit from. I can highly recommend him from my personal experiences as a very energetic and engaging speaker. He will entertain those in attendance and provide them with take away real actionable practices that will improve their effectiveness. Please do not hesitate to contact me personally if I can answer any questions or provide additional information about my personal knowledge of Vincent Phipps.

Dear Vincent,

Bravo! Well done! As President of the Chattanooga IAAP Chapter, I wanter to write you personally to let you know how much I enjoyed your presentation to our members I must admit that I missed your program last year and had you confused with another speaker. Because of that, I could not understand the excitement of our member that you were returning. Now that I know what I missed, I am extremely sorry that I was unable to attend that night and hope to make up for it in the future as I do hope that you will speak to our group again and again.

I was especially impressed with your delivery skills as I am a shy person by nature and have to push myself to get up in front of a group. Your hight energy high impact program was both engaging and entertaining. I felt like I could tackile anything that night as I left our meeting. I liked the fact that I could immediately apply what you were saying both personally and professionally. As an executive assistant that maintains a professional certification, I appreciated that your program qualified for recertification points.

Again, I cannot thank you enough for supporting our chapter and gracing us with your talents and skills. I now count myself among your loyal followers and look forward to the next time we meet.

Sincerely,

Danette Higdon, CAP
