ERIC FAN

TESTIMONIALS

“On December 5, 2019, the Los Angeles County’s Department of Public Social Services held its first-ever General Relief (GR) Transition Age Youth Summit (TAY). The GR TAY Summit was designed to be a unique opportunity to engage, motivate, and support our TAY population in their pursuit of economic mobility. To assist with this effort, over 30 employers and community-based organizations were on hand to hire and/or recruit our participants. As a result, approximately 80% of the TAY committed to a pathway in either pursuing their education, enrolling in a training or employment program, or pursuing their own business.

Suffice it to say, we can attribute some of this success thanks to Squarage’s participation in the GR TAY Summit. Squarage was able to teach our TAY population about career readiness, including soft skills for interview and job search preparation, in a way that resonated with our attendees and with content that we have not seen elsewhere. Squarage’s creativity in delivering their material and curriculum certainly enhanced our attendees’ employability and, most importantly, their confidence. We appreciate the partnership with Squarage and look forward to future collaborations.”

“It is with great pleasure that I would like to take this opportunity to recommend an outstanding training and staff development consultant to you Eric Fan, with Squarage. Eric recently completed a staff development day here at Employers’ Training Resource, the administrative entity for the Kern, Inyo and Mono Workforce Development Board (KIM WDB). With his knowledge and expertise gained from years of analyzing best practices for job search and workplace culture, Eric educated my staff about best practices and the development of new strategies to help our customers be more competitive in the job market. Specifically, he was able to provide our team with innovative ideas to better prepare our clients for job interviews. Even my older staff members who have been with our agency for decades were receptive to Eric’s ideas.

Eric presented the right blend of humor, energy, and practical information to keep staff engaged for the entire day. He provided practical ideas that staff could implement to help our job seekers become more competitive and he also provided concrete ways for staff to overcome issues that they may be facing at work.

If you are looking for a training and staff development consultant who can provide a meaningful and interactive experience for your Workforce Development team then I believe you should consider Eric Fan.”
